Once the items above are completed and your application has been processed, a link to self-schedule your parent conversation and your child’s assessment will be available in your application portal. Please self-schedule before November 15, as space is limited and offered on a first-come-first serve basis. The parent conversation and student assessment must be scheduled by November 15, but the session itself may take place later.

Students applying to PK, K and Grade 1 are assessed in a playgroup and 1:1 to gauge both social skills and dispositions, as well as pre-academic and academic skills. Student assessments are conducted October through January. While children participate in the assessment, parents/guardians will have a guided tour with a parent ambassador followed by a parent conversation with a member of the admissions team.

All required forms and documents will be available to complete in your application portal. The deadline to submit all required documents is January 8.

CGPS is committed to making a CGPS education affordable to academically qualified students who might otherwise be unable to attend. All financial assistance is need-based and available for students in kindergarten through Grade 12. We do not offer financial assistance in Pre-K.

A member of the admissions team will contact you to arrange your visit to CGPS once the items above are completed and your application has been processed.

Interviews and assessments are conducted November through January. Your visit will include a guided family tour, followed by a student academic assessment and a parent/guardian conversation. Applicants will return at a later date for an in-class visit and a group project.

All required forms and documents will be available to complete in your application portal. The deadline to submit all required documents is January 8.

Student interviews and assessments are conducted in person, October through January. Families will receive a campus tour during their visit. 

Grade 6 Applicants: Students will join us on campus for an interactive, group project followed by a 1:1 interview. While students are being assessed, parents/guardians will have a Parent Conversation with a member of the admissions team. 

Grades 7 and 8 Applicants: Students will join us on campus for an individual academic assessment and student interview. While students are being assessed, parents/guardians will complete their Parent Conversation with a member of the admissions team.
