Tuition Refund Plan:
The Tuition Refund Plan is a form of insurance originated by Dewar to provide families the opportunity to protect their tuition investment in independent schools and colleges. The program refunds a portion of the unused annual tuition and insured fees when students are withdrawn or dismissed for reasons that are covered under the Plan. The Plan's benefit extends to the School by helping to ensure receipt of its budgeted tuition income. We strongly encourage all families to participate in this program.
Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School is strongly committed to a program designed to ensure its educational offerings are made affordable to academically qualified students who might otherwise not be able to attend. All financial assistance is need-based. The degree of need is determined by an analysis of both the School and Student Service for Financial Aid forms (SSS), available here, and the family's most recent federal income tax return with supporting documents (e.g. W2s, 1099s etc.). The school code for CGPS is: 2518.
Please note, once your application is completed on the SSS website, you can review your Reported Family Contribution (RFC). This will provide you with a general idea of what you may be asked to pay toward your child's tuition.
