Payments & Policies
Tuition Refund Plan:
The Tuition Refund Plan is a form of insurance originated by Dewar to provide families the opportunity to protect their tuition investment in independent schools and colleges. The program refunds a portion of the unused annual tuition and insured fees when students are withdrawn or dismissed for reasons that are covered under the Plan. The Plan's benefit extends to the School by helping to ensure receipt of its budgeted tuition income. We strongly encourage all families to participate in this program.
Tuition Payment Plans:
All payment plans require a deposit (20% of total tuition) to be paid at the same time the student enrollment contract is signed.
: The remaining balance of Tuition (less the Deposit) (80% of Tuition) is due by August 1st.
: Tuition (less the Deposit) is paid as follows: 50% of the full Tuition is due by August 1st and the remaining 30% of Tuition is due by December 1st.
: Tuition (less the Deposit) is paid as follows: Ten equal monthly payments beginning on August 1, with payments continuing and due on the first (1st) of the month through May 1st. Unless waived by the School, Parents selecting this payment plan acknowledge and agree that an additional 10% finance charge shall apply to all monthly payments (excluding the initial 20% payment deposit). The School, in its discretion, may waive finance charges for families who have sought and/or are receiving financial assistance and who are making monthly payments under this plan.
