Application due on or before November 22

1. Parent/Guardian Interview: Parent(s)/guardian(s) will meet with a member of our Admission team in person. It is recommended that both parents attend when possible. Once your application is complete, you will receive a link to the email you provided in your application to self-schedule your interview.

2. Student Academic Assessment: Applicants for Pre-K, K and first grade will have an in-person assessment with a member of our Admission team. Once your application is complete, you will receive a link to the email you provided in your application to self-schedule your child's academic assessment. 

Please note that a tour with the parent(s)/guardian(s) and applicant is included with the academic assessment.

3. School Report for Pre-K, K and First Grade: Your child's current teacher must complete and submit a School Report form to admission@cgps.org. Please find the appropriate ISAAGNY School Report forms in the links below.

2. Teacher Recommendation: Your child's current teachers must submit a recommendation form to admission@cgps.org. The form is available on our Admission Portal or below.

3. Transcripts: Submit the Transcript Release form, found on the Admission Portal and below, to the applicant’s current school. This form enables the school to send a current school report directly to the Admission Office. We require transcripts from last year and mid-year (or first quarter or trimester) reports from the current school year.

4. Standardized Testing: CGPS requires the ISEE for grades 2–5. 

• For the ISEE test, your child’s testing is administered by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) and should be arranged by contacting the ERB office through their website or by calling 800.446.0320 and listing CGPS as a recipient. Our school code is 333570.

2. Student Essay: We ask each applicant to write an essay from supplied ISAAGNY prompts, which you will find on the Application Portal. The essays have a 500 word (or 4,500 character) limit. 

3. Student Supplemental Questions: Applicants must complete the three student supplemental questions and submit them at least 48 hours prior to the student interview. This can be found in the Admission Portal. 

4. Teacher Recommendation: The applicant's current teacher must submit a recommendation form to admission@cgps.org. This form is available on our Admission Portal or below.

Our school code is 2514. Please submit testing to the Admission Office before January 30.
