MS Faculty Treat 7th Graders To Fun-Filled Day
Marquis Austin

On Monday, June 7, seventh graders enjoyed a fun-filled day of ice cream, pizza, puzzles, tug of war and even magic! Put together by faculty to celebrate the departing Middle Schoolers, 7th Grade Fun Day kicked off with a spirited homeroom before proceeding to an activity that kept everyone on their toes — breaking out of complex virtual escape rooms. Hosted by Clue Chase Escape Room, the session challenged students to use logic and reasoning to solve a series of puzzles.

Later, they watched a virtual magic show by Alex Ramon, one of only 20 illusionists ever awarded the Milbourne Christopher Illusionist Award. Some of his other career highlights include helping Taylor Swift incorporate a magic act into her 1989 World Tour and making Whoopi Goldberg levitate. The audience watched in awe as Alex dazzled them with his close-up illusions.

Taking advantage of the bright and sunny weather, the Class of 2026 spent the rest of the day eating pizza and ice cream and playing games in Central Park. We hope the seventh graders had a fantastic time and wish them luck in the Prep School!
