8th Grade Girls Make School Proud At Math Competition
Nathan Dummitt, PS Math Department Head

On April 26, eighth graders Mila A., Sophie E., Sara E., Dylan F. and Kate W. participated in Girls' Adventures in Math (GAIM), a themed math competition for upper elementary and middle school girls. The students competed with other eighth graders nationwide on two problem sets that were contextualized in stories of pioneering women from history, and the Prep School Math Department is very proud of the focus and teamwork exhibited by these girls after school. Well done!
