7th Graders Create Medieval Kingdoms in Minecraft Education

Seventh-grade history students were assigned a kingdom in medieval Europe to research. Student groups then built the kingdom in Minecraft Education to be presented at the end of the research project. Teachers ran servers for each classroom in which student groups built their kingdoms within the same world. The kingdoms had to be built with historical and geographical accuracy. The students then had to create museum placards that were made accessible via QR codes that they had to generate. Thank you to Mr. Peters, Mr. Timmins-Schiffman, Ms. Giovanni, Mr. Charlick, Mr. Olivera, Mr. Jufer and Mr. Giorlando for making this innovative project possible!
